Richard M. Lerner is a former bank executive who today serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations in the greater Annapolis, Md., region. In 1999 he was named Chairman of Annapolis Bancorp, Inc. (Formerly NASDAQ: ANNB) and three years later was named chairman and CEO of its principal subsidiary BankAnnapolis. In 2013 Annapolis Bancorp was acquired by Pittsburgh-based FNB Corp. whereupon Mr. Lerner served, until Spring 2014, as chairman of the Maryland Region of First National Bank. Prior to his leadership positions with BankAnnapolis, Mr. Lerner was president of White Flint Builders, Inc., a development and construction firm based in Bethesda, MD. Mr. Lerner earned a BA as well as graduate business degree from Tulane University, New Orleans, La. Today he sits on the boards of the following organizations: The Hospice of the Chesapeake Foundation as well as the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He joined the board of advisors of Newbridge Media LLC in Fall 2014. He resides in Annapolis.
