We are also the administrator and chief sponsor of Rosebud Awards, the monthly award program recognizing high-quality works of journalism in the US.

Newbridge Media was founded in 2002 by newspaper publisher Stephen Elliott Clark following the July 2001 sale of Bergen County (N.J.) Newspapers, Inc., to the holding company of The Bergen Record, Hackensack, N.J.

Newbridge Media was founded in Fort Lee, N.J. in 2001, in offices overlooking the George Washington Bridge. Today we are based in Charlottesville, VA, with staff and contributors in Dallas, TX, Park Ridge, NJ, and San Francisco.
